Valkari Frozen-Steel
KiKi, 15, 5 years
Personality: Trustworthy: Valkari has a trust that will never usually be broken by herself, for she is just not like that. To her, it's cruel and rather unhonorable if she breaks the trust. However, if someone else breaks it (for example, doesn't tell her something, goes behind her back, tries [and fails] to kill her), that person will never be forgiven and will be forever despised by the redheaded Nord. Honorable: Valkari isn't crazy for honor, but it is in her blood to have a bit of honor with her. Usually in battle or her own family she will show it. Also with others, for she shows some honor for those with a high name (Grey-Mane, Cruel-Sea, etc) or a high status (Harbinger, Jarl, Thane, etc). Loyal: Whenever she chooses a side to fight for in the war, no matter what decisions they make she will always be loyal to that side. Much like she is loyal to her allies, and usually once a friend, always a friend. Betrayal is just not something that Valkari can do to an individual. However, her loyalty can only go so far and stretch so long before it breaks by someone's actions or words. Kind: Unlike most who give a beggar one or two septims to use, Valkari will give that beggar five or ten to show that she cares. Being a bard has that effect, and she needs to be kind to earn septims and some laughter here and there. Valkari will do what it takes to make a young child smile, a friend laugh, or a person in mourning look to the brighter side of things. Being kind feels good, and most of the time that's all she sees as a reward. Feeling good about it. High-tempered: People say that redheads have a high temper for their hair and freckles show the fire burning in their heart. Valkari is a redhead, and she has enough fire in her heart to burn all her foes if she is angry enough. Often times, she just leaves the room and takes a few moments to relax and breathe before confronting the opposer once more, but if you get her REALLY mad, watch out. The Nords aren't only famous for their tradition in singing tales, but also for their strength in battle. And since Valkari is female, and incredibly skilled with a battleaxe, it won't end well on the opposer's end. Sarcastic and cocky: This usually gets Valkari in trouble, but not always. This trait is more in the middle between her good and bad traits. When she is with her friends, she will use her humor and sarcasm to brighten the mood and have a good time. When not, usually dealing with an opponent, she will be a smart ass and be cocky, taunting the enemy. It's not inheretly a bad thing, but it's not wholy good either. Brave: Valkari doesn't fear most things when it comes to battle or arguing. Sometimes this is good, for she then has no trouble taking on a giant Frost Troll. However, sometimes her fearless self can go a bit to far when standing up to someone, and most times it doesn't help when the opposer is twice her size. Hopeless romantic: Of all the things that Valkari, the most temper mental Nord in pretty well all of Skyrim, could be interested in, she had to choose romance. It brings a bit of sparkles to her eyes when she sees a young couple embracing each other or an older couple finding a bit of love and warmth in hard times. Likes: Singing and telling tales: It's her job, it's what she's supposed to do, and she loves it. There's nothing more rewarding in her mind than earning a few septims and making a group of people sing and dance to her music. Hunting: Valkari takes great joy in hunting out in the wild, especially with her Shield-siblings. It gives her a clearer head and often times is the most efficient way to calm her down a bit. Exploring: Whether it be in a cave, a Nordic ruin, or a haunted barrow, Valkari loves to explore and there is nothing more that she'd rather be doing, well, besides being at Jorrvaskr or singing at inns. Natural areas: Sometimes Valkari just needs to get away from the civilized world, and one way she does it is to go to one of her many favorite naturally beautiful areas in Skyrim. The Eldergleam Sanctuary is by far her favorite place, for it is home to the giant Eldergleam Tree. Talos: Being a Nord, Valkari takes some worship in the god. However, she isn't bat crazy over him like Heimskr, the Priest of Talos in Whiterun. Smithing: Valkari does not like buying her own armor or getting another to upgrade it, so she does it herself. Being very skilled in the art of smith, she loves it and earns a bit of gold on the side if she does it for commission. Dislikes: Aldmeri Dominion: Even though Valkari has not chosen a side yet, she still dislikes the Aldmeri Dominion for taking away the worship of Talos. It somewhat infuriates her, but of course she keeps it to herself. Perverted Drunkards: Yes, they're everywhere, and Valkari hates them. What makes it worse is that she's a bard, and sometimes she gets an unwelcome grab to the arm or chest from a drunken male Nord, resulting in a fist fight. Luckily, she always teaches those nasty drunken individuals a good lesson with a few punches in the nose and groin. Dishonorable bards: One of the many things that she utterly despises are bards that dishonor the traditions and only sing for gold and the affection of wenches. She has had one to many incounters with male bards like such, and has had one to many bar fights with those exact bards. The outlaw of Talos: Even though she isn't crazy over the god, Valkari still worships him on a regular normal basis. The outlaw of worshipping him almost drove her to join th Stormcloak rebellion, but thought twice about it just before heading towards the city. Insulting her past life: Anyone who knows her past life (friends usually) knows that she never knew her parents or didn't exactly have a proper home. Anyone who insults that part of her life will not be forgiven. It's personal, and it hurts greatly when you do insult her ... also to mention it hurts you physically if it goes to far. Desires and Goals: Marriage: Yes, Valkari wants to find a man who loves her for who she is. So far, the only type of man she finds are either trying to grab at her tits and ass, or are unhonorable in so many ways she doesn't even know where to start. Valkari knows that not all men are like that, but she's starting to doubt that a teeny tiny bit. Maybe someone will change her mind one day. Maybe. Become one with the Circle: Valkari loves the Companions. They are like the family that she never got to have. She works hard and battles along side her shield-siblings with honor to prove her worth as a warrior. One day, Valkari hopes to rise into the ranks of the Circle and get the chance to fight alongside them. Maybe then Vilkas and Skjior will stop calling her 'whelp'. Stormcloak Rebellion: As much as Valkari hates predujices, she sees reason for the rebellion, and she is also thinking of joining up herself someday. Maybe, depends on how well she puts it off before then. History: Valkari has been to many places across Tamriel, explored through dungeons, has been given some titles here and there, but what she didn't get to experience was a family. Valkari never had one for they died when she was at the age of five by a group of bandits. The guards never sent her to an orphanage because they could never find her. Every time the guards came by the house, she would hide in fear that they would take her away forever and no one would remember her. Eventually, Valkari just left the small village in Cyrodiil and went out on her own at the age of 10. There was nothing for the young Nord there, and even if there was, Valkari wouldn't have stayed anyway. The world called to her, like it was begging to be explored by the young redhead. The young girl has been alone ever since. Once she was of age she joined the Fighter's Guild and learned mostly everything she knows now from them. How to wield a battleaxe without falling over, how to move in heavy armor without being detected, and more. After a few years there she left due to disagreements with the guild. They weren't the most honorable people in the world, and Valkari didn't like that. No, she wasn't crazy for honor, but yes she still believed that people should be honorable in battle. And so, Valkari left Cyrodiil for good to explore other places like Valenwood and High Rock. Valkari has been all over Tamriel, but the place she loved the most was Skyrim. She loved the people and the stories they shared of adventures and legends. At one point she joined up with the Bard's College in Solitude, learning the arts of singing and playing her favorite instrument, the drums. Valkari eventually left Skyrim to explore other places. She traveled as a Bard, singing tales of legends and speaking of her adventures to the young ones at local inns. Valkari even had her share of bar fights, which she won most of them. Eventually though, Valkari began to think of a continent to call home, feeling that it was time to settle down some and get a job that didn't pay so low. Skyrim was the only place she wanted to call home, for her first visit was a lovely one, and she had thoughts of joining the Companions the first time she visited the cold land. When she felt the time was right, she took the next ship to Skyrim and bought a nice little house in Whiterun, close to the Companions. They took her right in after a few swings at Vilkas. Even now he's still astonished by her skill with a battleaxe, being as small as she is. Her adventures and quests with them have been nothing but adventurous and action packed, fighting off draugr and the beasts they exterminate for the citizens of Skyrim to keep them safe. That was what Valkari wanted in a fighter's guild. Not having to worry about death if you have a shield-sibling at your side, and watching your back. Farkas, the most kind of the twins, taught her many things with heavy armor that she could never imagine. He taught her how to move with it and not become so fatigued. It definitely improved how she battles. Now, Valkari continues to aid her shield-siblings in combat and quests, but she also adventures the land as well. She explores many things from ruins, to caves, to the suspicious haunted barrows that has locals talking. The young redhead also enjoys sharing her tales and singing about old ones at inns to earn a bit of extra coin from the inn keeper. What she knows so far, is that she's not leaving Skyrim, even when she heard about the Dragons returning and the war going on between the Empire and the Stormcloaks. For now, she'll leave those problems alone until such a time comes where she has to make a choice. Thankfully, that time isn't soon. |
